At the First Harvest

You reap what you sow.

It isn’t
any more or less complicated than that,
but the thing is:
we don’t get to know
what our karmic homework assignment is
in advance.

All we can do is plant and plant,
prune and prune.

Pray for harvest and then —
praise
praise
praise.
